Every Now And Then, You Have To Say, “What The F***”
Believing in God is risky business
I’m fed up. Exhausted from trying to get religious people and people of faith to explain themselves. More so from trying to get them to give me good reason (or even a concrete reason) to turn to their faith or belief in God for answers or guidance.
It’s too risky to believe in a god.
See, this was prompted by an article written by a Christian who believes that The Church needs to change and start addressing real concerns of real people and give real and practical solutions and advice. He has left The Church (organized religion), but has maintained his faith. I’m curious how he answers the hard questions that he believes we need to start discussing?
Isn’t that the work of Christian leaders?
Isn’t The Church where these leaders are found?
To all of you dear Christians that have left The Church but maintained your faith: What the f***?
You have found that leaving the church but not the faith has been life-giving and existentially satisfying… but what about all the people who have doubts and questions and want answers? Presumably, you feel you have some kind of answer that is not The Church or organized religion.
