If I were to pick one point as my "if you only hear one of these, let it be this one", I'd choose #12. She appreciates time spent more than money spent... I begged for time for many years- and then we got divorced (of course, many other reasons also went into that decision!)

I'm now 2 years into my current relationship and it's been wonderful because we were both open about our wants and needs. Fortunately, he wants the time together as much as I do!
